A man was left fighting for his life after an overnight crash Wednesday morning.
Omaha Police say just before 1:00 officers were called to 107th and Q Streets for a crash involving a pedestrian. Authorities say a Kia Soul was westbound on Q Street when 47 year old Antwan Broaden crossed the street from south to north. Broaden was not in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle.
Broaden was taken to Bergan Mercy for treatment of serious head and leg injuries which are considered life-threatening. The driver, nineteen year old Carlos Tellez-Sanchez, was not injured in the crash. Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in this crash. Q Street was closed for approximately four hours while the scene was investigated.
