A Missouri man is behind bars in Council Bluffs after hitting a hotel with his car.
Council Bluffs Police say officers were called to the Red Roof Inn near 30th Ave and Manawa Center Drive after a truck reportedly hit, and partially went through, the side of the building. Authorities say the driver, 59 year old Mark Bryceson of Macon, Missouri, was suspected of being drunk behind the wheel of his Chevy Silverado.
Bryceson was arrested and booked into the Pottawattamie County Jail on the charge of Operation While Intoxicated. There were people in the hotel room that was hit, and one woman was treated for minor injuries caused by flying debris. The hotel was inspected and allowed to continue operating, with the exception of a handful of rooms.
