The westbound lanes on I-80 at 42nd Street are blocked after a semi jack-knifed around 6:30 Saturday morning. The truck driver was taken to a hospital to be checked out.
Omaha police sent a message on Twitter that the main streets vary in condition from clear to partly covered with packed snow. Side streets may be more of a challenge as city crews continue their plow operation.
The National Weather Service continues to receive reports of snowfall amounts. Early estimates show that between 2 and 4 inches fell throughout the metro area.
