Frontier Airlines To Fly Non-Stop From Omaha To Austin

Frontier Airlines announced on Thursday it will begin offering nonstop flights between Omaha's Eppley Airfield and Austin, Texas this spring.

The service will operate seasonally and will run Mondays and Fridays beginning April 9. The flight will leave Austin at 1:14 p.m. and will land in Omaha at 3:24 p.m. It will leave Omaha at 4:09 p.m. and land in Austin at 6:25.

Eppley spokesman Steve McCoy says Austin has become a popular destination for leisure travelers and also for business due to the growing technology sector in central Texas.  

Frontier also will begin offering nonstop flights to Las Vegas and Philadelphia in April. It will launch a new nonstop flight to San Francisco in June. The airline also will offer summer service to Orlando.
