The search for a man on the run from Omaha Police took an unusual turn early Thursday morning. Omaha Police were in the area of 40th and Frederick looking for a suspect who had felony warrants.
As officers evacuated some residents from an apartment building, Police say the suspect climbed into the attic and was crawling along the joists. He lost his footing, crashed through the ceiling, tumbled down a staircase and landed on the floor of an apartment.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries and will recover and is facing several charges.
