More Snow Headed Towards The Metro

Old man winter isn't quite done with Nebraska yet as more snow is in the forecast for the end of the week.

Wednesday will see some sunshine early in the day, but clouds will move into the area in the afternoon and they may bring a few light flurries. Temperatures will hit the upper teens, but low wind speeds will make the cold temps a little more bearable. Thursday will be cloudy, but temperatures could warm up to about 30 degrees.

Friday may usher in the weekend, but it's also bringing the first of two more snowstorm systems. The first one could bring one to three inches of snow during the morning commute, which will cause big delays around the metro. Snow showers could linger into the early afternoon before tapering off to flurries in the evening. The snow will bring cold temperatures with it with highs expected to fall through from the 20's into the 10's.

The second system will move through Friday nigh into Saturday bringing more snow that could be about the same as Friday morning, if not a little more.
