Omaha Police say a 55 year old man was seriously injured in a one car rollover crash near 39th and L around noon on Sunday.
Police say 55 year old Lyle Smith was westbound when his Toyota Camry hit a pole at 39th. The car then crossed the center line and hit the front of several houses on the south side of L before it eventually struck a large landscaping rock, which caused the vehicle to flip onto it's top.
It came to rest in the eastbound lanes at 41st Street. Smith was listed in stable condition by mid-afternoon. Police say a medical condition might have contributed to the accident
He was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane and Colliding with a Fixed Object.
