Westside Community Schools will host a caucus Thursday night to allow voters to narrow the field of school board candidates down from six to four.
District 66 residents will vote for their candidate and the four with the most votes will be placed on the statewide primary ballot in May. The two candidates with the most votes during the May 15th primary will fill the two vacant school board seats and serve the district.
The candidates in Thursday night's caucus are: Sean Conway, Tyler Gloe, Doug Krenzer, Jill Novotny, Steven Taylor, and Meagan Van Gelder. Anyone who did not submit a letter of intent to run for school board can go through a nomination process during the caucus.
The caucus will be held Thursday at Westside High School, 8701 Pacific St. Voter sign-in begins at 6 PM with the caucus will beginning at 7 PM. Additional information about the candidates is available here.
