Two people have been arrested in connection to the suspected murder of a missing Lincoln man.

Lincoln Police have been investigating the disappearance of 35-year-old Phillip Madlock since his family reported him missing on July 10, 2017.

Madlock's family reported him missing after they were unable to reach him for two weeks.  Police say on January 29,  36 year old Dominic Aguirre was booked into the Adult Detention Facility for 2nd Degree Murder.

35 year old Paul Clark was booked for aiding and abetting 2nd Degree Murder.  Aguirre and Clark have been in custody since January 12, 2018, on charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.

Investigators learned Aguirre and Clark had been searching for Madlock to collect on a debt for illicit narcotics.  According to Police, Madlock was assaulted at several locations in Lincoln.

After he was dead, Madlock's body was transported to a location outside of Lancaster County.
