The man killed in a Saturday evening Pottawattamie County tractor rollover has been identified.
Authorities say 40 year old Brian Louison was eastbound on Leisure Lane around 5:00 when his tractor left the roadway, causing it to rollover on its top. After the tractor rolled over it caught fire, trapping Louison under the machinery.
Firefighters and paramedics from Crescent and Underwood rushed to the scene along with deputies from the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Department and troopers from the Iowa State Patrol.
Firefighters quickly put out the flames that had engulfed the overturned tractor, but Louison had already succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
