The Omaha Public School District is reminding parents that they should be prepared pending any delays in bus routes due to slick roads.
Bus routes may be running late, so parents are asked to ensure their students are dressed appropriately for the winter weather. Students may spend additional time en route based on traffic conditions.
District officials say if the bus has not arrived after fifteen minutes of the scheduled pickup time, parents should have their child return back to a sheltered location. For the status of your child’s bus, contact OPS Student Transportation at 531-299-0140.
