Woman Found Guilty In Deadly Road Rage Crash

In a Douglas County courtroom Friday Rhonda Boisseau pleaded "no contest" to a misdemeanor count of willful reckless driving in connection to a road rage incident that left three motorcyclists dead back in June.

In exchange for her plea, prosecutors dropped a charge of providing false information.  Last summer, Boisseau was involved in a confrontation with a group of motorcyclists. Witnesses told 6 News Boisseau used her car to chase down one of the motorcycle riders in what appeared to be a display of road rage. Two motorcycles then collided, killing all three people.

Sabrina Moore, who saw the crash and tried to help the victims, told 6 News: "Her actions caused the death of three innocent people."  Moore joined dozens of the victims' friends at the courthouse Friday, waiting for Boisseau to appear before a judge and enter her plea.

One of the victims' friends said: "She got away with murder." Boisseau had no comment as she left the courthouse.  Omaha City Prosecutor Matt Kuhse told 6 News he made the deal with the defense because of the evidence in the case.  "We consulted with the victims' families and we let them know what was going on. We respected their opinions, but we have to do what's right and what's within the bounds of the law."

Boisseau will be in court again for sentencing on March 29. She faces 90 days in jail.
