A man is in critical condition after a shooting late Wednesday morning. The victim was found near 41st and Bedford around 11:00.
26 year old Brett Shelton was reportedly was shot in the chest somewhere between 41st and 42nd Street. Witnesses say Shelton ran door-to-door looking for help. Captain Mark Matuza says a Good Samaritan found him near 41st and Bedford and called 911.
Police are trying to figure out where the shooting happened and are reviewing surveillance video from the nearby J-N-J store.
