A man armed with a machete robbed the Walgreens near 30th and Dodge around 1:45 Wednesday morning.
Employees of the store told officers that a man came in, showed "a large knife or machete," and demanded money from the safe.
Authorities say he held the weapon against an employee's arm, causing a minor injury. He then grabbed the money and left heading west on foot.
Police found 32 year old Kevin Mitchell near 30th and Burt and arrested him without incident. He's been booked for Robbery, Felony Assault, two counts of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Felon in Possession of a Weapon.
