Sarpy County authorities say one person was killed and two others seriously injured in a crash on Highway 75 near Cornhusker around 3:00 Saturday morning.
According to investigators a 2006 Chevy Cobalt driven by 32 year old Juan Pablo Muro of Lexington, Nebraska was northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with another vehicle.
Authorities say Muro was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, 32 year old Maricela Gonzalez, and her two year old son were taken to Nebraska Medical Center with serious injuries.
Southbound lanes of the JFK were shut down for more than two hours as officers investigated the crash.
