Hiland Dairy Recalling Two Juice Products

Hiland Dairy announced Friday that there is a voluntary recall on two products produced at facilities in Omaha.

The recall is over concerns that the products may contain milk protein.  Hiland Dairy says people with milk allergies or a severe sensitivity to milk could run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the products.

The products are: One Gallon Hiland Dairy Orange Juice, with a sell by date of 02-05-18 and a plant code of 3108 and One Gallon Tampico Citrus Punch with a sell by date of 03-09-18 and a plant code of 3108.

The plant codes can be found underneath the sell by date on the gallons.   Hiland Dairy initially learned of a potential issue during internal quality control testing at the Omaha facility.

If you have purchased any of these products you're encouraged to discard it or return it to the store to exchange it for another item. Consumers with questions may contact Hiland Dairy seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST at 402 740-2254
