Offutt Air Force Base officials say an airman was killed in a three vehicle crash on the JFK Expressway near Chandler Road Friday morning.
Offutt spokemsan Drew Nystrom confirmed to KFAB News that one of the victims is an active-duty airman. “The Air Force is a close knit family and the loss of one of our own affects us all. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and friends in this difficult time."
Bellevue Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash, which involved two cars and a tow truck. No names have been released yet. In addition to the two people killed, two others were critically injured.
