Man Accused Of Being Serial Flasher Appears In Court

A 21 year old man is being held on $1 million bond after being arrested for exposing himself to nearly a dozen people.

Dakota Schu appeared before a Douglas County judge on Thursday to be arraigned on eleven charges of Indecent Exposure and ten charges of Lewd Conduct. Prosecutors allege that Schu exposed himself to multiple people in Omaha over the last few months, and has been known to have behaved in this manner before.

Investigators believe Schu is a serial flasher. He was most recently arrested after exposing himself to a student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in November. UNMC security sent a campus wide alert after the incident, and provided Omaha Police with information, which helped them catch Schu.

If found guilty on all charges, Schu could face more than ten years in prison.
