Bond Set For Suspected Serial Shoplifters

Two Omaha women appeared in Douglas County court on Thursday after being accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

The judge set bond at $55,00 each for both Nenzingha Davis and Montashia Montgomery, who are suspected of repeatedly shoplifting from the Victoria's Secret store at Westroads Mall.

Recently, police were called to the store for a shoplifting incident where the store manager informed officers that three women came into the store and picked up reusable shopping bags. The women then proceeded to the front of the store, filled the bags with about $1,300 worth of merchandise and walked out.

This is reportedly not the first time the trio has done this at that same store. According to the employee, the three were frequent shoplifters at the store, and had even stole from the store earlier that same day. Management says they've filed five police reports on the suspects in the last few months. Overall, the thieves have gotten away with nearly $15,000 in merchandise.
