Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is celebrating Christmas weekend by allowing children under the age of 12 to come in at no cost.
Each adult visitor with a paid admission can enter the zoo with up to six children. “The Zoo is happy to extend this holiday gift to the children in our community,” Zoo president and CEO Dennis Pate said. “We hope they will kick off their holiday break at the Zoo, where they can engage with animals, learn about their habitats and conservation, and leave feeling inspired.”
The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
