Scott Frost Named As AP Coach Of The Year

Scott Frost has another award to put in his trophy case.

Frost was named the AP Coach of Year on Monday. The 42 year old incoming Nebraska head coach lead his UCF Knights to an undefeated season this year, after the program was win-less just two years ago.

Frost will coach his last game at UCF on New Year's Day when the Knights take on Auburn in the Peach Bowl.

Frost received 21 first place votes to take home the 'Coach of the Year' award, with Georgia's Kirby Smart taking second place. Frost has already received the AAC Coach of the Year, Home Depot Coach of the Year and Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year awards. He is also a finalist for the Paul 'Bear' Bryant Coach of the Year award.
