The Nebraska Women's Volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Championship.
After a hard fought five-set semifinal match against Penn State Thursday night, the Huskers have advanced to the NCAA Volleyball Championship game on Saturday.
The Huskers took down number one seed Penn State in five sets (25-18, 23-25, 24-26, 28-26, 15-11). Penn State's two losses this season, one in September and Thursday night's loss, were dealt to them by the Huskers.
The Huskers now go on to face number two seed Florida, who took down defending champs Stanford to advance, in Saturday's championship. The Huskers and Gators have ten national championship appearances combined. Nebraska will be in search of their fourth national title, while Florida is looking to win their first championship.
