Firefighters were called to the Rotella's Italian Bakery around 8:30 Thursday morning after an oven caught fire in the east warehouse near 106th and Harrison.
Papillion Fire Chief Bill Bowes says when they arrived smoke was coming from the roof and the garage doors of the warehouse. "We made contact with Rotella's personnel and there was an oven on fire. They had the building evacuated and there were no injuries."
Bowes says it took about 15 minutes to get the fire under control. Firefighters from Bellevue and Omaha also responded to the scene to assist.
The bakery is scheduled to be back to regular business Thursday afternoon.
