Suspect Arrested In Connection To November Homicide

An arrest has been made in the death of a man that was found dead at an Omaha Police precinct.

Authorities say eighteen year old Tyjanae Allen was arrested on charges of First Degree Murder and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.

The body of 29 year old Julio Cesar-Ortega was discovered by an officer returning to the Northeast Police Assembly just before 1:00 AM on November 9th. The officer noticed a vehicle parked in the lot at the precinct and when he approached the car, he found Cesar-Ortega dead inside.

Investigators say they believe Cesar-Ortega did not sustain his fatal injuries at the precinct, but instead was assaulted at another location and then drove to the precinct where he died.
