Persons Of Interest In Sydney Loofe Case Indicted For Fraud

The FBI says Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail have been indicted Tuesday for their involvement in fraudulent activities, which officials say are unrelated to the death of Sydney Loofe.

FBI officials say Trail and Boswell were indicted on charges including the transportation of stolen goods, securities, moneys, State tax stamps, or articles used in aiding and abetting these types of crimes.

Investigators said these activities were uncovered during the course of a separate ongoing investigation into the disappearance and death of 24-year-old Loofe. Both Trail and Boswell continue to be considered persons of interest in this ongoing investigation.

Their federal preliminary hearings are scheduled for Thursday in Lincoln. Trail and Boswell are currently in federal custody in the Saline County Jail.

Loofe disappeared in November after going on a date with Boswell. Loofe's remains were ultimately discovered several weeks later in a rural area of central Nebraska. Investigators believe Loofe was last seen alive in Wilber.
