One driver is recovering from a two vehicle accident that happened at 9:20 Friday night at North 30th Street and Avenue A in Council Bluffs. Police say 19 year old Mariah Yagow of Norfolk was driving a Jeep on 30th Street when she drove into the path of an oncoming car. The two vehicles collided sending the Jeep into a house at 3000 Avenue A.
The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Building inspectors were called to access the damage to the house after it was hit by the jeep.
Investigators say Yagow failed to yield the right of way and was cited for disobedience to signs and signals.
