Sycamore Farms Transformed Into Winter Wonderland

The home of Junkstock is open for Christmas with a Winter Wonderland.

Danelle Schlegelmilch with Sycamore Farms says they will be open the next two weekends with a number of special activities. "Carriage rides, and Santa, and ornament making, cookie decorating, ice sculpture making."

Schlegelmilch says if you are a fan of the movie A Christmas Story, they have something special in store with their version of Santa's Mountain. "It looks like the one from the movie where the kid kinda climbs up the stairs and then goes down the slide after he sees Santa."

The Wonderland includes about 70 vendors, live bands, a live nativity and food trucks and Schlegelmilch says if you're worried about the cold, don't be. "All of our shopping is actually going to be heated and then also a big bonfire lounge, where you can enjoy a hot toddy."

The Winter wonderland runs Friday through Sunday this week and again December 15th through the 17th. tickets are $5 and children twelve and under are free. You can see more details here
