The first round of new bars and restaurants to open at The Capitol District were announced on Wednesday.
The five new tenants are expected to open in the Spring of next year and include a wide array of offerings. New restaurants will be Kansas City based J. Gilbert's Wood Fired Steaks and Seafood and a second location for popular pizza joint Lighthouse Pizza.
Three new concept bars have also been announced, and each will offer something a little different from the next. Annie's Irish Pub will give guests a lively spot to have a pint, while country music lovers can stop by Beer Can Alley for a refreshing drink. for those looking for a more New York City feel stop by The Exchange, a Wall Street themed bar.
Beer Can Alley and The Exchange will both be on the second floor of the development, overlooking a central plaza. Annie's Irish Pub will be on the ground level with an outdoor patio opening up into the plaza.
All five of the bars and restaurants should be open by March of 2018.
