Former Nebraska football coach Mike Riley is returning to familiar territory. Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith announced today that Riley will be returning to Corvallis to serve as Assistant Coach.
Riley was recently fired as head coach of the Huskers and since then rumors have mounted that he would be returning to Oregon State, where he served as head coach for more than a decade before coming to Nebraska.
He ended up with a 19-19 record in his three years with the Huskers. No information on his salary has been announced yet.
