A man who was shot in November near 37th and Meredith has died from his injuries.
At the time of the incident, Omaha Police said 56 year old Lionel Johnson had been found lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound just after 6:30 PM on November 5th. Johnson spent a month in the hospital before succumbing to his injuries on Monday.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide, and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
