Council Bluffs police are searching for two men who were involved in a broad daylight robbery Thursday morning.
Police say around 10:30 a.m., a man driving near 14th Avenue and South 35th Street pulled over to take a business call. He says two men approached his vehicle, one from each side.
The one on the driver's side showed a small silver handgun. The robber demanded cash and stole around $200. Investigators said they both left walking northbound.
Both suspects areblack males. One is about 5’6" and 160 pounds. He had a goatee and short, black hair. He was wearing a light brown Carhartt-style jacket - and jeans. The other suspect is described as 6’1", weighing 180 pounds. He also had a goatee but with disheveled hair. He was wearing a light gray zip-up jacket and light black, loose-fitting jeans.
Police said both suspects are believed to be in their early 30’s. Anyone with information should call Council Bluffs Crime Stoppers at 712- 328- STOP.
