Two Nebraska universities are heading to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament this week.
The Creighton Bluejays earned the number nine seed with the Nebraska Cornhuskers earning the number five spot. Both teams won their conference championships.
Nebraska faces Stony Brook, who are making their first tournament appearance, in the opening the round at 7:00 Friday night. That series will be played at the Devaney Center in Lincoln. The winner of that match up will play the winner of Florida State and Washington State.
Creighton will play Coastal Carolina at the CenturyLink Center at 7:00 on Friday.
