Council Bluffs Police have arrested a man following a robbery from the Bucky's near 35th and West Broadway Friday afternoon.
Officers responding around 12:40 determined that an employee of Bucky’s was removing cash from the gas pumps when the suspect approached her from behind and physically took the bank bag containing the cash.
Officers saw a suspect matching the description running in the 3400 block of Avenue A. The suspect, Jerome Wright was detained at that location. Wright was eventually arrested for 1st Degree Theft.
No weapons were involved in the theft and no injuries were reported.
