Holiday magic will return to the Omaha Children's Museum on Friday morning. In a new twist this year Santa will arrive at the museum on a mini train at 9:45 a.m much to the delight of children and their families.
Once inside Santa's Magic, an interactive program featuring popular museum characters like the Snow Queen and Holly the Elf. The program features indoor snowfall, one-on-one time with Santa Claus and the Snow Queen and a few theatrical magic moments.
The program opens with Holly, who prepares children for the show. Colorful lights dance to festive holiday music of Mannheim Steamroller before an appearance by the Snow Queen to greet children and help them make it snow, inside the museum.
After leading them in song, the Snow Queen draws their attention to a living room where Santa drops down from a chimney. Santa then calls each child over by name to hear his or her wishes. The program is held multiple times daily, and is included with museum admission.
