One person was killed in a three vehicle crash on I-80 near mile marker 420 Monday morning.
Cody Thomas with the Nebraska State Patrol tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB that around 3:30 an eastbound vehicle crossed the center median and struck a westbound vehicle head on near Greenwood.
A third vehicle then ran into the initial crash scene. One person died from their injuries and four other people were transported to the hospital to be treated.
The crash shut down westbound I-80 for a time while the investigation was conducted.
