Bellevue Police Arrest Suspect In Suspicious Death

Bellevue Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of his girlfriend. Investigator Laurie Synowiecki says 56 year old Alan Stack was booked for second degree murder after the body of 51 year old Beverly Bauermeister was found inside a mobile home near 29th and Washington around 5:00 Thursday evening.

Family members went to the mobile home and found that Bauermeister had died. They then called police to investigate further.  When officers arrived, they found that Bauermeister had suffered significant trauma and she was declared dead at the scene.

Detectives determined that Stack also lived at the residence, but was not home when Bauermeister's body was discovered.

"Officers were able to later locate Stack inside the victim's vehicle here in Bellevue," Synowiecki says. "He was then taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Sarpy County Jail."
