A sixteen year old boy is recovering after being shot in the arm Tuesday night.
Omaha Police say the shooting was reported just before 7:00 near 37th and Meredith. They say a number of people called 911 and a shot spotter detected the gunfire as well. There has been no description of a suspect or vehicle involved.
This is not the first shooting in the neighborhood recently. Another victim was shot in the area last week. That person is recovering from their injuries. Police say it is unclear at this point if the two incidents are connected.
