Omaha Police are investigating after a woman claimed that an Uber driver sexually assaulted her during a ride early Saturday morning.
The 29 year old woman told officers that the driver, listed only as Jerry, gave her and a friend to an apartment complex near 144th and Maple. She stated that during the ride, she and her friend passed out in the vehicle and the driver allegedly sexually assaulted her around 5:30.
According to the report, the car was stopped in the parking lot of the apartment complex during the alleged assault.
No charges have been filed at this time. the investigation continues.
