Washington County authorities say a 19 year old man died in a one vehicle crash Friday night. during a pursuit Friday night as Jackson L. Potadle,19, of Fort Calhoun.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped Jackson Potadle's vehicle for speeding in the 2400 block of County Road P43 and were preparing to search it when the driver sped away.
Investigators say Potadle lost control of the vehicle on a curve in the 4600 block of P43. That's west of Highway 75 and approximately 1.5 miles south of Fort Calhoun. The vehicle crashed into a ditch and hit a tree.
Potadle died at the scene. The Nebraska State investigated the crash.
