Changes are coming to security at the CenturyLink Center. Starting December 31st, the arena will be adopting a clear bag policy for all events.
The venue has been restricting attendees to small clutch sized bags for the last few months, opting to ban large bags or purses. People attending events will still be allowed to bring in small clutches, as well as clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes and bags.
Here is what will be allowed at CenturyLink Center:
- Clear plastic bags, measuring 12 inches tall, 12 inches long, and 6 inches wide.
- Small or clutch-sized purses or wallets, not exceeding 4.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches long.
- One-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags are permitted (Ziploc bag or similar).
- No large purses, bags, backpacks or fanny-packs will be allowed inside. MECA staff-members will not be allowed to hold bags during events.
- Exceptions will be made for bags with medical necessity after appropriate inspection.
