A 33 year old armed man was shot in the shoulder inside Crystal Beverage near 20th and M streets around 12:45 Thursday morning. A witness told officers that a man, identified as 33 year old Juan Armand walked into the business and pulled a handgun during an attempted robbery.
One of the people inside the store drew his own gun and shot Armand and held him at gunpoint until police arrived. Armand was taken to the hospital for treatment of a shoulder and mouth injury.
