It's called "Warple", technology the the City of Omaha is testing as a new way to measure public opinion. Warple is an Omaha-based technology start-up providing real-time views of what people think.
Warple Founder and CEO Jeff Cahill says it will give the city an opportunity for more community engagement. "Warple measures public opinion today and monitors changes over time," Cahill says. "We can reach large audiences quickly and provide valuable information to Mayor Stothert and her team. We all want our opinions to matter. Warple makes it easy to get involved in decisions that affect our city."
The first five-part Warple is now on the Mayor's website. It measures support for current and future solid waste collection.
