Omaha Police say two arrests have been made after several guns were stolen in a pawn shop burglary. The search continues for a third suspect.
On Monday, members of the ATF, the OPD Firearms Unit, Gang Unit, Burglary Unit, K-9 Unit, Air Support Unit and Uniform Patrol Bureau took 20-year-old Anthony Howell and a 16-year-old into custody. Both are facing charges in connection to the Good Guys Gun and Pawn burglary from Saturday near 132nd and B Street.
Howell was booked for two counts of burglary and one count of possession of a stolen firearm. The 16-year-old male was booked for two counts of burglary, and one count of possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a handgun by a minor.
OPD and the ATF are still attempting to locate a third suspect, identified as 18 year old Timothy Webster. An active Felony Warrant has been issued for the arrest of Webster for his involvement in the burglary. Webster should be considered armed and dangerous.
Officers recovered 20 guns during this investigation, but believe that Webster may be in possession of additional guns.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Webster should contact the ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS.
