A thirteen year old girl has died from injuries sustained in a five car crash on Wednesday in Lancaster County.
Lancaster County authorities say at 1:40 Thursday afternoon Ryan Post was declared dead at Bryan West Hospital.
Ryan, of Hickman, was a student at Norris School, where fourteen of the sixteen people involved in the crash attended school.
Three of the drivers were Norris students and suffered injuries in the crash. Investigators say the crash happened as traffic began to slow for an earlier accident on South 68th.
Ryan was the right rear passenger in a Pontiac Grand Prix that was struck by a Ford Ranger pickup.
Ryan was wearing her seat belt. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing but at the present time no citations have been issued.
