Two employees at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution have been arrested in a contraband investigation.
They're identified as 53 year old Richard Fries and 31 year old Ryan Tokar. Fries has worked as a corporal at Tecumseh since January of 2017. Tokar has served as a corporal there since November of 2016.
They were arrested on Saturday and incarcerated in the Johnson County Jail.
State officials have not detailed the specific nature of the allegations against the men, saying only that the incident is the subject of an active investigation.
