Man Bit By Dogs In South Omaha

A utility serviceman is recovering after being bit by two dogs inside a gated front yard near 32nd and Vinton Monday morning.

Nebraska Humane Society officials say a utility worker entered a fenced in front yard near 32nd and Vinton and was bit by two Shepard-mixed dogs.  His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

There was a sign saying “Beware of Dogs” but it's not known if the service man didn't see it before entering the yard.

No citations were issued.  The dogs are current in licensing and vaccinations.
