There some anxious moments this afternoon after work crews nicked a gas line outside a Bellevue daycare facility.
Nearly 100 children from the Caritas Kids Cottage at 42nd and Giles were evacuated just before 2:00 and taken across the street to Bryan Middle School to keep them safe.
The leak was quickly contained. Firefighters helped escort the kids out of the building and assisted in bringing them back into the daycare once the all clear was given about 45 minutes later.
