A 20 year old woman was rushed to a hospital just after 11:30 Friday night after she was hit by a vehicle near 75th and Dodge Street.
The investigation revealed the woman, identified as Adaysh'a Watts had just gotten out of a vehicle and was emotionally upset. While speaking with another person inside the vehicle, Watts walked backwards into the westbound lanes of Dodge Street when she was hit.
Watts was taken to a hospital in serious condition with abdominal and back injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
