Omaha Woman Charged In Deadly Crash

An Omaha woman has been charged in deadly accident Wednesday night that claimed  the life of a 15 year old Waverly High School student.

The Sarpy County Attorney says 22 year old Paige Seaton has been charged with Motor Vehicle Homicide and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs Causing Serious Bodily Injury. Both are felonies which violate her previous parole.

Seaton has a law enforcement hold and a warrant has been issued.  She will be taken into custody after she gets out of the hospital.

Authorities say Seaton drove across the center as she drove northbound on Highway 50 near Springfield and struck another car headon driven by 48 year-old Elisa Linscott of Eagle, Nebraska.

The passenger in Linscott's car, 15 year-old Alexandra Linscott died at the scene.  Elisa Linscott sustained critical injuries and is still at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

The county attorney says a sheriff's deputy found a container of alcohol inside Seaton's car and her blood alcohol level was .180.  She was on probation for a DUI arrest in April.
