Sarpy County authorities say a woman was shot in her home Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff Jeff Davis says the woman was transported from her home at 183rd and Emiline, just south of Harrison, after being shot in the head. She was taken to Bergan Mercy in extremely critical condition.
Davis says the shooting may have been accidental, but they need to conduct a full investigation before making a determination.
